Intercultural Experience
Intercultural experience is a key goal of this programme. Therefore students are obliged to study one semester abroad at one of the cooperating theological institutions all over the world.
In their second year, students spend the first semester (3-4 months) at one of the following partner institutions:

- Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology, Addis Ababa / Ethiopia
- The Graduate School of Theology, Ewha Womans University Seoul / South Korea
- Osaka University, Osaka / Japan
- Trinity Theological Seminary Legon, Accra / Ghana
- Near East School of Theology, Beirut / Lebanon
- Yerevan State University, Faculty of Theology, Yerevan / Armenia

The network of partners will be expanded.
Students attend classes within the regular curriculum in order to study "Theology in Context" and deepen their intercultural competence.
In addition, students conduct project work that focuses on current topics in their respective countries. For example, projects may deal with problems of economic cooperation and development or interreligious communication.
