Heussinger, Claus Dr.

  • 2007 Phd, LMU Munich, Germany
  • 2007-2010 Humboldt Fellow (Feodor Lynen program) at the LPMCN, Lyon, France
  • 2010-2011 Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for theoretical physics, Göttingen, Germany

Major Research Interests

Our research is concerned with the elasticity and rheology of amorphous materials. Current research projects involve the mechanics of cytoskeletal networks/bundles, as well as the jamming transition in suspensions, emulsions or granular materials. For more information on our research projects please take a look at the group's homepage.
