| Beschreibung | More than 50 years identities of Pohozhaev type have been widely used in the partial differential equations, in particular for establishing non-existence results for large classes of forced elliptic boundary value problems. Let emphases also on the critical case, when the compact Sobolev embedding fails, but after the seminal paper of Brezis and Nirenberg a lot of interesting results have appeared. On the other hand, last years it has been shown that this approach is also applicable to establish nonexistence principle for certain problems even for nonlinear mixed elliptic-hyperbolic type in the supercritical Sobolev case. It is interesting also that in the last years some first results about using Pohozhaev identities in the case of Fractional Laplacian BVP appeared in the last years. |
