Student Exchange Grtant by ILSSE: Israel-Lower Saxony Scholar Exchange

This travel grant is intended for postgraduate researchers who wish to spend two to four weeks at a partner institution for the purpose of conducting research (e.g. learning new techniques, establishing collaborations). Seven exchange grants for postgraduate researchers are available per year.

Award: 2,000 € for 2-6 weeks, 1,750 € awarded immediately, 250 € after final report submission

Requirements

Letter/statement from a supervisor at the home university supporting the internship
Letter/statement from a supervisor accepting the researcher at the host institute/group
Short cover letter describing the work plan and motivation for visit (1-2 pages)
Short report (1-2 pages) after return to home institution

Lower Saxony – Scotland Tandem Fellowship Programme

Das ECAS lädt in Kooperation mit der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg und der University of Glasglow zum zweiten Lower Saxony – Scotland Joint Forum ein. Das Forum ermöglicht es Forschenden und Studierenden aller Universitäten und Hochschulen aus Schottland und Niedersachsen, ihre bestehenden Beziehungen auszubauen, sich zu vernetzen, neue Kooperationen zu knüpfen und eigene Workshops zu veranstalten.

Das Joint Forum findet hybrid am Montag, 21. November, und Dienstag, 22. November 2022, statt und ist kostenlos.

"Schottland-Initative" of the Lower Saxonian Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK)
All members of higher education institutions in Lower Saxony and Scotland are invited to organise a workshop during the second day of the Joint Forum, taking place online. Any topic will be accepted as long as there is some connection to the idea of academic exchange and partnership between the regions of Lower Saxony and Scotland.

We would like to encourage you to submit your proposal until 15 September 2022 and are beyond excited to get to know your ideas and see the progress you made with regard to on-going projects!
