Cancellation & Non-attendance

Planning and realising the training courses implies a great financial and organisational effort. In consequence, the organising entities must be able to justify and represent these efforts and costs in front of their sponsors. Therefore, we can only maintain the course offer if we can rely on the registered participants to show up. Therefore, we ask that participants do not register for workshops, unless they are sure they can attend them. Because only a limited number of spaces are available for participants, cancellations will result in unnecessary expenses for the university and penalize other participants who were not able to register for overbooked courses.

If you need to cancel your participation, please immediately contact Katarzyna Friedrich-Fil or Dr. Kerstin Mauth. Please note that we can only accept notification of a cancellation on the grounds of illness or other severe reasons. If you cancel your participation without such a reason or if you do not attend the course without any notification at all, we will have to exclude you from participating in other courses for one year.

In the event that the minimum attendance for a workshop has not been reached, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop.

Participants will be informed of cancellations no later than 10 days prior to the workshop.
