'Changing Meanings of Europe' workshop

The workshop 'Changing meanings of Europe: Historical and contemporary perspectives on the political potential of a cultural idea' will take place at the University of Göttingen from 12 to 14 November 2015.
The main purpose of the event is to bring together scholars whose work focuses on transnational cultural, intellectual and political mechanisms that promote inclusion and exclusion on the local, national, and European level as well as to extend existing U4 Research Network on Cultural Mechanisms of Inclusion and Exclusion in Contemporary Europe (CMIECE).
