Cornelia Loos, PhD

ZUR PERSON

Seit 2017 arbeite ich als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Gebärdensprachlabor der Universität Göttingen. Meine Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der Grammatikforschung sowie der (lexikalischen) Semantik von Gebärdensprachen mit Schwerpunkt auf Deutscher Gebärdensprache (DGS) und American Sign Language (ASL). In meiner Promotionsphase habe ich die Schnittstelle von lexikalischer Semantik und Syntax untersucht, im Besonderen die formale Klassifikation von Wortarten in ASL (Adjectives in ASL), die Entwicklung syntaktischer Diagnostika zur Satzgrenzenbestimmung in Gebärdensprachen, und die Syntax und Semantik von Resultativkonstruktionen in DGS und ASL. Seitdem haben sich meine Interessen um formale und experimentelle Semantik und Pragmatik erweitert. Derzeit untersuche ich die Semantik von Antwortpartikeln in DGS und interessiere mich für das Verhalten von Präsuppositionsauslösern in DGS.
