Mona Saleh

Mona Saleh holds a master’s degree in international relations/political science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. She also holds a Master of Global Affairs from the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at the American University in Cairo and spent a semester abroad at the School of International Service at the American University in Washington DC. She joined the Political Science Institute at Göttingen University in December 2018 as a Doctoral Research Fellow in the research project “The Authority of International Organizations and Institutional Overlap” under the supervision of Prof. Tobias Lenz.
Saleh has worked as a research fellow and research assistant at various institutions such as the Global Affairs Program at the American University in Cairo and the Peacemaking Program at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Washington DC in addition to occupying different positions at the Library of Alexandria, Egypt - a cultural and research institution with an international character.
Saleh’s research interests include but are not limited to governance, international/regional organizations, authoritarianism and legitimacy, political transition, political discourse analysis, Critical Studies, and security studies.
