Dr Rebecca Hardie
Biography
Rebecca earned her AHRC-funded PhD on Translation and Pedagogy in the Vercelli Book at King’s College, London. She holds a Masters in Medieval Literature from the University of Oxford (2012), and BA in English Literature and Language from KCL (2010), and has worked on programmes of conflict resolution and interfaith dialogue at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2015-6). Her research focuses on Old English literature, Anglo-Saxon sermons and homilies, translation culture and the history of subjectivity, conflict and belief. She is currently working on shorter articles about the relationship of gender and pedagogy in several Old English sermons and the role of bad teachers!
