Bachelor/Master students and internships

Students who are interested to do master work or an internship within our group can chose from various projects that provide education in cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, and/or phytopathology.

PhD positions

If you wish to do your PhD in our department, and if you have done your masters in cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, and/or phytopathology, then please contact Prof Dr. Volker Lipka to discuss projects that are available and apply through.

Postdoctoral positions

Postdoctoral scientists with a strong research track record, who are interested to work within our group, are encouraged to apply for an appropriate postdoctoral fellowship:

Visiting Scientists

Scientists (PhD, postdoc or other) who wish to use our tools to investigate their favorite (plant) biology topic are welcome to visit the lab for a few weeks or months. Please contact Prof Dr. Volker Lipka to discuss options.
