Students who specialize in the area „International Organic Agriculture” can apply (within their first study semester) for participation in a double-degree programme in cooperation with the University of Maribor (Slovenia). The third semester is then spend at the University of Maribor.

An admission process decides on the five participants that can be accepted for the programme. The application for admission must be handed in at the examination office by May 15th. Details on the application process can be found in the study and examination regulations (download).

As a participant of the double-degree programme, during your first year, you take the bridging, obligatory and mandatory modules of the specialization area “International Organic Agriculture”. At least two mandatory or elective mdules must be methodological (code M). At least one mandatory or elective module must be concerned with plant sciences (code P or I). Two more mandatory or elective modules must be concerned with either plant sciences or economic and social sciences (code E).

In his/her third semester at Maribor, the participant will chose 6 elective modules from the modules offered in the specialization area “Ecological Agriculture” of the Master programme “Agriculture” at the University of Maribor. Click here for the list of modules at Maribor.
