My current research area is security and privacy in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). I am also interested in MANETs and sensor networks routing protocols. Mobile ad hoc networks are self-configuring infrastructure-less networks consisting of mobile nodes within communication range of each other communication hop by hop. The wireless nature of communication, dynamic topologies and membership and lack of any fixed infrastructure makes them more sensitive to security issues (including key management, secure routing, privacy, intrusion detection, etc.). At the moment I am working on location privacy issues as well as multicast anonymous routing in MANETs.
