Katie von Holzen

Katie received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in 2009. Her research at UWGB focused on infant plural acquisition and how parents adapt their language to the environment and needs of children.

Since May 2010, Katie works at and is a PhD student in the Language Acquisition Junior Research Group and the associated Babylab WortSchatzInsel. Her research focuses on the influence of bilingualism in adult and infant populations on lexical and phonological processing, especially the perceptual reorganization of speech perception during the first year of life.
