Humanities Laboratories on Seriality and Fu Manchu

On December 16 at 4 p.m. Ruth Mayer will present her current work on “Image Power: Seriality, Iconicity, and The Mask of Fu Manchu” at the Center of Modern Humanities in Göttingen (ZTMK). The lecture is part of the Humanities Laboratories organized by the ZTMK and will take place at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology / European Ethnology. The event will be chaired by Frank Kelleter; Axel Schneider, expert in East Asian Studies, and Thomas Kempa from the department of Intercultural German Studies will serve as commentators.
