Bachelor theses in the area of marketing at the Georg-August-University Göttingen are assigned by a standardized allocation procedure. Next to the Chair of Marketing and Consumer Behavior the Chair of Marketing and Retail Management and the Chair of Marketing and Innovation Management also participate.

As part of the allocation procedure, you will not only apply for a bachelor thesis at our chair, but for one at the marketing chairs of the Faculty of Business Administration. The allocation procedure has fixed periods for writing the bachelor thesis and for the registration procedure. These are as follows:

All information to apply for a Bachelor's thesis within a desired period can be found here. Please note that for this purpose you must obtain all accompanying documents listed below and have them available in digital form for uploading at the time of application.

  • Current printout of grades of the examination office
  • Certificate of attendance of the course "Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten" (if available)

Applications that are late or incomplete will not be considered in the awarding process of bachelor's theses at the Business Administration Marketing Chairs of the University of Göttingen.

You will be notified of the outcome and the eventual next steps within one week after the end of the respective registration period. Should you decide to apply for a different Bachelor thesis, please inform us immediately.
