The University of Göttingen maintains scientific and exchange relationships with European universities within the framework of the ERASMUS program; within the Faculties and Institutes, scientists have been appointed to manage these relationships. They have access to the ERASMUS institutional coordination from the International Relations Office, to support for student mobility activities from International Student Services and for teacher/staff mobility and contracts from the Research Division, Section International Research Contacts.
Partnership coordinators are nominated for a certain time by the presidential council to foster and maintain the University´s relationship with selected universities or groups of universities in one country. The University has defined these partnerships as especially valuable to its development because they encompass many different cooperative activities. A list of coordinators will be accessible here shortly.
