Junior professor (W1 with tenure track W2) for Sustainable Inorganic Chemistry

to commence as soon as possible.

The professor is expected to perform research and teaching in inorganic chemistry. Applicants should be recognized for excellent achievements in a modern area of inorganic chemistry. The University of Göttingen emphasizes researchoriented teaching. The position will be located within the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and suitably complement the departmental interdisciplinary focal research area „Sustainable Chemistry”. Participation in existing (CRC 1073) and planned research initiatives of the Department of Chemistry in the areas energy conversion and sustainable synthesis is essential. Participation in academic administration is expected.

The formal requirements for an appointment as a tenured professor are in accordance with the legislation of the State of Lower Saxony (§ 30, Niedersächsisches Hochschulgesetz). Appointments will be made by the university according to the laws of Lower Saxony. Details will be provided upon request.
