Core areas of research and teaching are

  • the entire substantive Criminal Law, in particular the general part of the German Criminal Code (StGB) with its references to Constitutional Law and Legal Philosophy;
  • the whole Criminal Procedure Law, espacially the investigation proceedings and the proceedings at first instance
  • as well as the Commercial Criminal Law.
