Structure of the Bachelor's programme
During the first academic year mathematical basic knowledge is mediated in the so-called Basic Studies.

During the Intermediate Studies in the second academic year students take introduction lectures oft he four possible fields of study (SP1-SP4: on the right).

The courses that are based thereupon from the fourth semester are free to choose. With these the in-depth studies of the third academic year are structured that also contain the first dissertation - the Bachelor's thesis - in the chosen track.

In Göttingen students choose between three research-oriented study tracks (on the right) during the Bachelor's programme in mathematics: general, practical-oriented and physics-oriented.
Furthermore, mathematics is combined with one of the adjacent minor subjects.
* These two have to be passed until the end of the fourth semester in mathematics.
