In your online application, you can provide us with information on your preferred type of accommodation. We will pass those data on to the accommodation service of the Studentenwerk Göttingen - the local student services organization - or to a landlord. If suitable accommodation is available, you will be contacted directly and offered a room.
If you take part in the ERASMUS programme or come from a twin university, you can get a relatively cheap room (between 180 and 240 Euro per month) at one of the various halls of residence. These are simple, furnished rooms; you would have to share the bathroom and the kitchen with other students.
