| Details | When: from 16:30 on Thursday 27 June Where: Café APEX, Burgstrasse 46, 37073 Göttingen 16:30 – Info Session on the XPOMET Medicinale 2019, with Dr Jubin Shah XPOMET aims to create a platform connecting all important stakeholders in the next generation healthcare. As part of that vision, XPOMET©/Medicinale 2019 is a three-day international tech and medicine festival, to be held in Berlin on 10-12 October 2019, embracing the next generation healthcare ecosystem through creative disruption and knowledge transfer. It is designed to celebrate and inspire every citizen with discoveries and progress in health sciences. 17:15 – Info Session on the India Alliance, with Dr Shahid Jameel The India Alliance is a 10-year old partnership between the Wellcome Trust, UK and Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, that supports excellence in biomedical research in India. Dr Shahid Jameel will give you an overview of funding opportunities and other activities offered by the India Alliance, aimed at bridging the science-society gap and strengthening the Indian research ecosystem. Target audience: Indian researchers keen to return to India to establish independent research careers and non-Indian researchers who wish to apply for/know about Fellowships or participate in other funding schemes of the India Alliance. 18:00 – Göttingen Campus Postdoc Social A chance to mingle, meet, munch! Postdocs, PhD students, science managers, partners and kids are all welcome. The speakers of both Info Sessions will also join the Postdoc Social so that you can ask further questions and continue the discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. All sessions are free and open to all.
