Hello everybody,

my name is Anne Wiese, I work as research assistant and doctorate at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (Chair of Retailing).
I am also responsible for the International Helpdesk of the GGG which offers support for all international PhD students studying here in Göttingen at the faculties belonging to the Göttingen Graduates School of Social Sciences or the Graduate School of Humanities Göttingen.
Besides, I organize courses, for instance on Academic Writing, and events like city trips, cinema or Bowling evenings. We aim to provide insights into the German roots and events that left their marks in the German culture. Furthermore, it would be a pleasure to discuss historical similarities and differences with you, leading to better understanding on both sides.
In addition, the helpdesk supports networking between German and foreign PhD-Students.

Although the Helpdesk is mainly provided to support international students, also Germans are very welcomed to join our activities.
