And explore what saves the forest from extreme weather conditions in the furniture store?Diverse research meets a versatile city at the "WISSENSWERT - Science goes City" day of events on 26 October 2019 in the city centre of Göttingen. Stores, the city museum, the Johanniskirche and many more will open their doors for Göttingen scientists. In an environment that is linked to their work, the researchers present the latest findings in their field in a vivid and sometimes playful way: from the linguistic seminar in the library to food quality and food waste at the Tafel Göttingen - there is something interesting for everyone!
The day of events is organised by the University of Göttingen and Pro-City and starts at 10am on 26 October. Partners of the Göttingen Campus and Pro-City are involved. There will be an information stand at the marketplace in front of the Old Town Hall.
