The programme of the division for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education of the University of Göttingen



The programme of the division for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education addresses university teachers, who want to optimise their teaching techniques in order to encourage and support the motivation, commitment and long term learning of their students.

The division offers the following:

• The two compact two-semesters lasting certificate programmes of 140 work units (each 45 minutes)



• An open workshop programme which gives university teachers the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of specific subjects (in accordance with their interests) and additionally enables them to create an individual profile in university teaching



• individual coaching for lecturers and expert-based sitting-in (including a video recording)




• offers for newly appointed Professors



• offers for PhD candidates and teaching newcomers



• Individually tailored offers for university institutions, which are coordinated and organised according to respective demands and requirements
