Following the 2012 summer semester, 266 students graduated from the Faculty of Economic Sciences. 72 of them were awarded their final grades by study dean Professor Dr. Gerhard Rübel on October 19, 2012 as part of festivities in the university auditorium on Wilhelmsplatz.
The faculty has also awarded the "Florenz Sartorius Prize" to the top graduates from the Business Administration, Economics, Business and Human Resource Education and Business Information Systems programmes to recognize their exceptional performance. The prizes are endowed by Göttingen's Sartorius AG.
