Documents to be provided

To apply for a position in the Dorothea Schlözer Postdoctoral Program, the following documents must be submitted exclusively via the online application portal.

Cover letter stating the applicants motivation for the position
Candidate’s curriculum vitae in tabular form, including a list of publications and funding (e.g. scholarships, third-party funded projects, etc.) as well as a transparent and detailed description of the participation in third-party funded projects
An exposé describing the planned work (max. 10 pages including bibliography)
University degree certificates (B.A. certificate, M.A. certificate or equivalent, Doctoral certificate or certification of successful disputation)
Short summary of doctoral thesis (1 page max.)
Two publications (article, book chapter, important public presentation)
A statement of a scientific cooperation partner at one of the above-mentioned Faculties to professionally promote the Postdoc and to provide the appropriate infrastructure in case of a successful application Download form
A statement from the respective faculty (Deanery), to provide the required financing of the position in case of a successful application Download form (Form not necessary when applying for a position in the Medical Center)
Information on children as well as parental and care periods
Brief description of the current employment situation (incl. source, e.g. third-party funding or budget funds)

Two references from scientists in the applicants professional context (e.g. first reviewer of the dissertation, recent or future cooperation partners)
