Annette Flemnitz

Since 2000, I have been working full-time as a dental technician at a laboratory in Einbeck (near Göttingen). From 1994 on, I was also acting as a substitute of DGS teachers. In 1996, I finally became a DGS teacher myself. I gave various classes for advanced learners of DGS until 1998. Between 2006 and 2009, I worked in a DGS project at the vocational school (Berufsbildungsschule BBS) in Einbeck.
I am the current chairwoman of the GVSN, counselling centre for deaf people. Moreover, between 2002 and 2016, I was vice chairwomen of the Deaf Association (Gehörlosenverein (GV)) in Göttingen. Since 1995, I am heading the womens' section of the GV Göttingen.

Since the beginning of summer term 2011, I have been teaching introductory classes on German Sign Language at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen.
