Details The Inter-Asia Research Group at the Global and Transregional Platform focuses on a wide range of relationships and interconnections between different parts of Asia. We explore frameworks and concepts for reconceptualizing Asia as a dynamic and interconnected formation. Funded by the US-based Social Science Research Council (SSRC), the GTS Platform is hosting four fellows for summer 2018. In this workshop we will discuss their current research using the conceptual and metaphorical movements of forming ellipses to explore the transregional, transnational and InterAsian articulations of concepts and practices central to their inquiries:

Dr. Sze Wei Ang, Concepts of Race in Asian and Asian American Literature
