Girls' Day - offers from economics and business informatics

To gain a better understanding of economic processes through experiments, to deal with exciting questions from economics, to accompany female students on campus and to get to know ideas for future mobility, schoolgirls between 10 and 16 years of age can take part in the nationwide Girls'Day on Thursday, 26 March 2020. A total of three courses from the fields of economics and business informatics will be offered by scientists from the Faculty of Business and Economics. Detailed information on the individual activities can be found here. Registrations are possible via the "Girls’Day-Radar" (in German).

The Girls'Day - Girls' Future Day is the largest career orientation project for girls worldwide. Since the campaign was launched in 2001, around 1.9 million girls have taken part. In 2019, around 100,000 girls explored offers in technology and natural sciences, and more than 10,000 offers from companies and organizations were registered on the campaign's website. In 2010, the Boys' Day was also introduced, on which boys can get to know professional fields in which men are underrepresented.
