The Institutum Lutheranum houses a research library with key resources from Lutheran Orthodoxy, which are of particular interest to church historians, dogmatists and denominationalism theologians. The author index, which has been complied over several decades, and the thematic register based on the theological topoi, form an excellent aid in analysing existing Lutheran Orthodox texts. The library is continually being extended, properly indexed and made available for research purposes. The provision of selected texts in digital form is planned. In addition, colloquia will be organised on specific themes relating to the idiosyncratic image of Early Protestant theology, its meaning in the context of its time and for the transition to modern theology.
