| Details | The four graduate schools in Göttingen (GAUSS, GFA, GGG and GSGG) invite you to a joint welcoming event on October 4, 2018 as part of the Introductory Week for International Students! Take part and get to know Göttingen, the Göttingen Campus and your graduate school, academic life in Germany and many fellow PhD students! Program: - Workshop on German academic culture; - City tours and a visit of the historical observatory, residence and place of work of Carl Friedrich Gauß; - Space and time for get-together and networking; - Welcome address by the Vice-President of the University and the Mayor of the City of Göttingen. Date, time and place: Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Historical Observatory (Geismar Landstr. 11) and 4:30 to 6 pm at the Old City hall.
