She is currently working on her PhD thesis „Vocational training in the Indian steel and engineering industries: histories of Indo-German co-operation, c. 1950-1989” (working title). The project follows the co-operations along their paths from planning to implementation. It is located in the fields of economic and social history, Indo-German entangled history as well as Indian industrial development planning. While considering archival sources on the state and private company level, the project aims to trace the bilateral vocational training projects’ impact on the Indian industrial labour market in the institutional and individual spheres.
