The Klaus Inhülsen Foundation
The Klaus Inhülsen Foundation (founded in 2008) provides scholarships with respect to the Faculty of Law and projects promoting the internationalization of the University of Göttingen.
Mr. Klaus Inhülsen (January 1st, 1938 - December 1st, 2010) accomplished his degree in law between 1959 and 1964 in Munich, Geneva, and Göttingen. From 1964 to 1966 he worked as a research fellow at the Institute of International Law at the University of Göttingen (Prof. Dr. Georg Erler, Prof. Dr. Gottfried Zieger).
Due to his close affiliation to the University of Göttingen, and particularly to his former Chair, Mr. Inhülsen decided to establish a scholarship foundation at the University of Göttingen.
By means of the Klaus Inhülsen Foundation, his wish was to financially support students of the Faculty of Law and projects for the internationalization of the University of Göttingen thanks to these scholarships. Since 2011, students of the Faculty of Law have had the opportunity to obtain a Klaus Inhülsen scholarship. In addition, international conferences which have been held in Göttingen have also been funded by this foundation.
