A three-day training workshop on landsurface modeling using the Coumunity Land Model (CLM) at the Department of Bioclimatology, UGoe was condutecd by Dr. Ashehad Ali + Dr. Fernando Moyano (postdoctoral researchers of A07)

Course content:
The course at the basics of modeling dynamical systems and approaches for modeling processes that control fluxes of carbon, water and energy at the boundary between the land surface and the atmosphere. The participants gained experience with creating simple model code in R as well as with exploring the structure and function of the Community Land Model and using it to conduct site-level simulations.
