PRA will hold the 8th International Woodcoatings Congress in Amsterdam on October 30-31, 2012. The congress will return to the Mercure aan de Amstel hotel, which has proved popular with delegates in the past.

This very successful series of conferences has become the premier event for global wood coating industry professionals to disseminate new technology and to collaborate and network. The event attracts all the major players from raw material suppliers to coatings formulators as well as equipment manufacturers, research institutes and academia.

The Congress also provides the ideal forum to publicise results from government funded collaborative research projects and for European standards committees involved in wood protection to report their activities.

The scope of the congress includes coatings and treatments for interior and exterior wood applications. It is expected that, as in previous years, the Congress will include parallel sessions for interior and exterior woodcoatings.
