The Chair of Business Administration, esp. Information Systems and Information Management, at the University of Göttingen, Germany, has an opening for a position as Research Associate/Ph.D. candidate in Information Management & Systems effective April 1, 2012 (75%, TVL-13). The position is limited to 3 years - an extension is possible.

The position provides the option for obtaining a Ph.D. degree.

Selected research topics are: IT Innovation Management, IT Governance, Green IS, Information Security, IT Services, IT Project Management.

We expect:

• A master’s degree/diploma with excellent results in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a Management degree with a focus on IT or alternatively Computer Science with a Management focus


• Very good English skills are a must. German language is a plus, but not required


• A self-driven, creative, communicative person with an ambition to perform


• Projects in the business world, e.g. internships or first working exprience


• - Exposure to international contexts, e.g. study or work abroad
