Seminar Location and Property Development in Retailing

In winter term 2023/24 a seminar on current developments and the significance of location policy in selected sectors of retail will take place as part of the Bachelor module "Location and Property Development in Retailing" in view of the growing importance of e-commerce.

Learning outcome, core skills:
After successful completion of the course students are able to analyze and evaluate different aspects of facility location policies from a marketing perspective. Within the seminar in the following semester, participants get to know empirical concepts for market analysis within the Gottingen retail environment. They are further instructed to collect and analyze data, as well as evaluate outcomes regarding their economic value for the Gottingen retail sector.
Examination:
Successful participants receive 6 credit points.

The briefing and the grouping will take place in the first session on 03.11.2023. Unexcused non-participation in the first session will be considered a cancellation. Any places that become available will be allocated to interested parties on waiting list.
