The first IARD-Promotion starts in Talca


At the Beginning of March 2011, 12 DAAD-scholars from Latin-America have started their IARD-studies in Talca. The scholars receive a full scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Besides the 12 scholars the studyprogramm is also studied by one student from Göttingen University and one student from France (Montpellier). The students study together the first two semesters until September, then a part of the group continues their studies in Göttingen, the rest of the students can graduate with a "Master in International Agribusiness" in Talca.

The picture shows the first IARD-propmotion during a lecture break of the guest-module "Introduction into Agricultural Policy" together with Prof. Dr. José Diaz Osorio, speaker of the program in Talca, and Prof. Dr. Stephan von Cramon-Taubadel and Dr. Sebastian Lakner, who have developed the study-program from the Göttingen University.
