Project "Life after Genocide and Political pressure: Armenia"

The Institute of Ecumenical Theology / Oriental Church and Mission History (Prof. Dr. Dr. hc mult. Martin Tamcke) has launched a project granted by the Federal Foreign Office under the measures to strengthen cooperation with civil society in the countries of Eastern partnership.

The Göttingen-based project "Life after Genocide and Political pressure: Armenia" tries - in conversation with German and Armenian students - to problematize the recent discourse on the genocide and the special political situation of the Armenians and to initiate publications on these topics both in Germany and in Armenia.

The project is conducted in cooperation with the Faculty of Theology of the University of Yerevan Jerewan (Assoc.Prof. Hovhannes Hovhannisyan).
