By car:


You reach the Institute of Mathematics and the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics via the Autobahn A6. Leave the Autobahn A7 at exit Göttingen/Dransfeld (Nr 73) towards Göttingen Zentrum. Staying on the right side of the roadway, after 3km you pass the river „Leine“ and a railway underpass. After the railway underpass turn right into „Bürgerstraße“.
Depending on if your destination is the Institute of Mathematics or the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics, bend off right in the fourth (Bunsenstraße) or fifth one street (Lotzestraße), respectively.
The Institut is located at the next crossroad (Lotzestraße/Böttinger Straße).

By bus from Central Station


Leaving the station heading towards the centre, the Central Bus Station (ZOB) is to your right. The central bus station (ZOB) is next to the railway station.
busline 4 (platform D) will take you directly to „Mathematisches Institut” and “Institut für Numerische und Angewandte Mathematik“. You can also take busline 12 (platform D) and drop out at "Bürgerstraße". You will only need about three minutes.


By Foot (15-20 Minutes) from Central Station:


Having left the railway station, head towards „Zentrum“ and turn right into „Berliner Straße“.
The fourth street to your right hand is “Bunsenstraße”. The Institute of Mathematics is in the left corner at the beginning of the street.

For the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics stay on „Bürgerstraße“ after the next big crossroad turn right into „Lotzestraße“ (fourth street on the right hand). The Institute is located at the next crossroad (Lotzestraße/Böttinger Straße).
