The pilot scheme
Since October 2015, the pilot scheme "Internationalisation of the Curricula: Internationalisation - Digitalisation - Diversification" supports the (further) internationalisation of the curricula at the University of Göttingen, i.e. the integration of global perspectives and the allocation of cross-cultural competencies for all students enrolled in the study programs, regardless of whether they spend time abroad.
Currently, three faculties are participating in the pilot phase of the project: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
During the first phase of the project, we have taken inventory of internationalised learning offers in the participating faculties. These learning offers will then be made more visible. In subsequent stages of the project, we will support the faculties in developing and implementing suitable contents and didactic concepts.
In 2017, the project also included the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology.
