Study aim:
The study aim is to develop analyses of grassland degradation in the western province of Mongolia by using ecological model-data synthesis and associated with carbon balance, trace gas emissions, water, soil quality, livestock and herders wildlife, roads, mining, socio-economic and recovery (resilience of grassland). The effects of grassland degradation will cause considerable damage not only to the ecosystem and natural resource also to the economic and social sectors of the country.

Land degradation monitoring, Ecosystem services modeling grasslands, Environmental impacts, Remote Sensing and GIS.
