Stefanos Tsikas is a member of the DFG Research Training Group 1723 “Globalization and Development” and was affiliated to the institute of Economic Policy at the Leibniz University Hannover.
Stefanos Tsikas holds a Master Degree in Economics from the University of Hannover. For his Master’s thesis “Tax Evasion and Welfare Fraud: Similarities and Differences”, Stefanos Tsikas was awarded with the “Wolfgang Schultze Preis” for raising awareness for social responsibility in the market economy. From 2015-2018, Stefanos Tsikas held a DFG-stipend for pursuing his PhD. His research interests comprise taxation and behavioral tax compliance, trust in government and the role of institutions, and experimental economics.
