This fall, the first-ever Life Science FDays® organised by Fraunhofer Venture in cooperation with Sartorius will take place in Göttingen. The 12-week Accelerator programme is designed for Life Science entrepreneurial teams at universities, research institutions and companies, e.g. from Drug Development, Diagnostics, MedTech and Life Science tools.

How to apply?
You can apply online via the Fraunhofer Venture Portal, where you will also find all relevant Information regarding the application process. In short: we will need information about your technology, business & team and a max. 5-minute application-video clip.
Who can apply?
Application is open for entrepreneurial teams or teams with the aim to start a business from the Life
Science area:
- Life Science teams (2+ persons) from research institutions, universities or life science
companies - The business model is based on market-relevant research or IP
- Motivation to participate as a team in the Life Science FDays®
When and where do the Life Science FDays® take place?
The Life Science FDays® will take place from 18.9.2018 – 6.12.2018 in Göttingen and other destinations in Germany for the incubation days, respectively. Dates for the Life Science FDays® are:

What is the goal of the Life Science FDays®?
The FDays® serve the entrepreneurial, systematic development and evaluation of business models based on technology and research.
The central objectives are:
- Build a sustainable business model and validate it against the real market
- Bring about a substantiated transfer concept decision
- Develop a target-group-specific pitch
- Set up an entrepreneurial team
- Strengthen competence in business development and acquisition
- Build a network of relevant partners from the Life Science area
What happens at the Life Science FDays®?
In 12 weeks, teams will work with business coaches, life science experts and entrepreneurs to
develop a solid business model. They will receive valuable input regarding license/IP, finance and
market, as well as pitch trainings and team coaching. The focus will not only be on individual support
of the teams by experts and by a strong network in the field of Life Science, but also on motivating
the teams to independently continue working on their projects. The used tools originate from the
world of start-ups, where acting quickly and effectively is crucial.
