Dr. Dmitry Romanov

Dmitry Romanov is a research associate at Universitätsenergie Göttingen GmbH. He defended his PhD thesis at Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 2019. His field of interests includes energy saving and reducing temperatures in existing district heating systems, renewable energy, feasibility study of different heat supply designs, hydraulic regimes of heat supply networks, coupling of heat and cold supply systems.
His main tasks within the EU Horizon 2020 MEET project are evaluation of technical, economic and ecological aspects of different heat and cold supply scenarios and development of a heat and cold supply concept for the Göttingen University campus with focus on different horizons of geothermal energy in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
