Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the conceptual and theoretical foundations of (electronic) securities trading and trading-related decisions.
  • To understand market models, market structure design and trading processes in securities trading.
  • To interpret, determine and understand different concepts for assessing the market quality, e.g., market efficiency, latency and transaction costs.
  • To understand brokerage services and related business value.

Witten examination (90 minutes)
