  • Understanding characteristics of different financial instruments.
  • Understanding structures and relations of global capital markets data.
  • Understanding the role and principles of standards and standardisation in the area of capital markets data.
  • Understanding and applying the concepts of data- and information management in the financial industry sector.

  • (Structured) capital market data (reference data, business data, and static data)
  • Semi-structured and unstructured market data
  • Standardization in the financial industry

Examination: 

Witten examination (90 minutes)

 

Examination requirements:

Obtaining knowledge of the foundations, concepts and techniques of financial information systems. Understanding of the methods for analysing and processing global capital markets data.
