Content:This project-oriented Master seminar addresses current phenomena in the context of the financial industry and latest IT developments. Within a project team, students shall develop an IT-based problem solution to a financial problem statement, and analyze and critically assess current IT-driven developments in the finance sector.
For preparing their term paper, students shall build upon theoretical foundations and conduct empirical analyses.
- Understand and apply methods to search for academic literature and to prepare structured literature reviews.
- Understand and evaluate IT-based and digital innovations of products and services.
- Apply qualitative or quantitative methods to new problems and phenomena, as well as yield and critically reflect problem solutions and results.
- Consolidate individual results of student group members and construct a conjointly prepared term paper.
