Research Panel on "AI and robots in individuals’ lives - How to align technological possibilities and ethical issues"

On 15 December 2019, Manuel Trenz moderated a research panel on "AI and robots in individuals' lives - How to align technological possibilities and ethical issues" at the 4th Workshop on the Digitization of the Individual in Munich, Germany. The participants of the panel were:

The panel discussed the opportunities and risks of AI for individuals and the balance between technical possibilities and social, economic as well as ethical challenges. Another focus was on the question how researchers Information Systems can play to their strengths to contribute in this area. The panel was followed by a lively and controversial discussion. The central results of the panel will be published in the form of a panel report.
