Fit for Erasmus & Staff Mobility: International Mobility Programs for Further Education
We design and organise qualification activities to foster the international mobility of the employees at University Göttingen and provide support in preparing stays abroad. Focuses
Qualification acitivities towards Internationalisation focus on English and Spanish program offers. Both languages are constantly taught at all levels. Courses address all staff and are being visited extensively: 1.300 participants have passed the language courses of HR development during the past 5 years.
Quality Standards
In accordance with international standards, our language programs are adjusted to the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFR).
Objective criteria to describe language competence is the basis of mutual recognition of certificates and thereby fosters mobility in Europe and beyond.
Certificates stating the level attained are issued upon passing successfully oral and written exams. Accordance to the common framework guarantees transparency of courses, curricula and guidelines and strengthes international cooperation in the realm of the learning and teaching of languages.

Differentiated target-group specific course offers
Apart from the standard program in English, there are special target groups which are addressed by especially designed courses in English.
These target groups are apprentices, employees in secretariats, and all staff in teaching positions.
Re-entry into the usage of english is faciliated by refresher courses.
In addition to the spanish and english courses there are two communication courses in french (at different levels).
